Darmstadt

I left Offenbach in 1999 after finishing school. The city center has a lot of shops (I am not so interessted in shopping and so ..., but for girls it's good). There are a lot of Parks and an old castle. Next to Darmstadt is the Odenwald, this a band (I hope this is the right term, but I don't think so) of small hills (up to 400 meter). One can do there tramping (nothing compared with New Zealand, I can walk there with my grandma) and there are a lot of nice tracks for mountain biking and road biking. My favorite track goes up to Castle Frankenstein.
I used to live at the university flats, it's called Karlshof. Everybody in Darmstadt knows this place. There live about 1000 students and it's a really intessting place (my parents and my grandma were shocked when they were the first time there).

Here is a map of Germany and Darmstadt
