Carnival in Bieber 2003

A few of you guys don't have a clue what carnival is. Well, you have perhaps heard about Carnival de Rio, but this is a total different thing than the german carnival (not such awesome looking girls :-), just kidding, we have also nice girls). The original meaning of carnival is to drive out the winter devil and the ghosts (guys from NZ, we had just winter and we still have it). So everybody gets dressed up with a real costume. I was once Pipi Langstrumpf (the girl who could jerk a horse and had long red queues). The people go out on the roads and have parades. Yesterday was more a show than a parade. We sat in a hall and listened to funny speeches (some wouldn't say that) about politics. There were also some dancing shows (with nice girls) and other stuff going on. After that we danced in the sparkling wine bar. I met a lot of old friends, I haven't seen them for ages, some for over 4 years. Allover it was an awesome evening.
