riding along the lake

18.9.03    Lausanne-Geneve - Chamonix,  166 km 8:16 h

I left early, Werner wanted to go to uni and I had to do a long track that day. The sun was rising and you could see over the huge area of lac leman, that was amazing. It was kind of cold and so I couldn't be bothered to sit on my bike and ride.

it is getting bright

I packed my stuff together and put it on my bike. After two days riding without luggage it wasn't easy to start. I was really lucky that I got another gear ratio, so I wasn't so much afraid of the mountains.

a town between lausanne and geneve

The riding was kind of boring. It took me about 2 and a half hours to reach Geneve. Geneve is a really nice town, I guess quite expansive.

I left Geneve towards Chamonix. I had a little bit problems with the traffic signs (big cities are always a pain in the ass with the bike). The track was flat and interesting. You could see the high mountains in the back.

don't take the highway

After a while I reached another town, and in the back, do you know what that is ?????? It is the Mt. Blanc

hmmmmm, quite high

the towns are really nice
