19.9.03    Col du St. Bernardo

I was happy when I reached the peak. The location is really amazing. There is an old hospice, a hotel (where I slept) and a lake. If you go along the lake you have to cross the boarder (the building on the other side of the lake is the boarder between swiss and italy).

I was so tired and it was really late. I asked in the hospice for accommodation but they were book with 3 school classes. I went to the hotel on the other side and asked for just a bed. They offered my after a while one for 14€, quite cheap. I walked a little bit around and met a typical dog of that area, quite heavy that boy.
