Next day sightseeing was on our plan. First
we had to use the subway again. In the train station I saw a big map of
the world and when I was waiting for our train I thought about how far away
is New Zealand. I also recognized how far away is New Zealand from Aussie
(well, I knew this before).
After a 10 minute ride we came out at the main part of Stockholm. First
we went to the square. There were a lot of people (especially a lot of beautiful
girls, I should study in Stockholm and not in Darmstadt ...).

We walked around and saw a lot of nice old buildings. That is really amazing in europe, there are damn huge buildings.

There is also a lot of water in Stockholm. Well, it is not like Venice but Stockholm is next to the sea and there are a lot of islands around.

Where water is there are always ships (can you say that in english, I am not sure but I hope you understand me). This is an old Viking ship. The Vikings used to sail around europe, some people even say that they have been in america long time before other european folks (I am not a historican, so I am not sure if this is right but I think I remember that I have heard this story once).

Next to the water is the castle. There is
the swedish king with his beautiful daughters (I didn't met them, my timetable
was busy :-). I tried to get a picture with me and the guard but he didn't
liked that.
Around the castle is the old town with narrow streets and a lot of shops.
The buildings are really old and nice. There are also a lot of nice cafes
(with beautiful waiters).
