For all the guys who haven't been on the Hahnenkamm. It is a hill next to Frankfurt, about 50 km's away. There is a really nice nature and some good single tracks (well, Darmstadt and Castle Frankenstein is better). We started after work at about 2 pm (we planed to do so, finally we left at 3, but that was okay). With two cars and about 10 different bikes from Rocky-Mountain we arrived on the top of Hahnenkamm.

We split the teams, some guys want to do only hardcore downhill biking (well, what should you do with a bike with 15 cm travel in the front and back suspension). They also did shuttles with the bus (you can't go uphill with this bikes). Before we could leave our chief instructor gave us some hints and explained the rules.

As I mentioned we splint the teams. The old guys did a tour around the hills.

The bikes were really good. We hadn't any problems with them (well, we put them together and so we shouldn't). Well, there was one problem, I had to much power in my legs and so the chain broke.

last ride through the dusk |
Allover it was an damn good day. We had a lot of fun and could feel the spirit of a 5000€ bike. I wish everyday would be like that. On the way home I decided to buy the diagram from PW, so now I have such a thing and can make a lot of pictures. Finally I want to say thank you PW and Rocky Mountain.
See you, Sebastian
