At the moment is really nice weather. The spring is starting. Furthermore I got a digital camera and so I do a lot of pictures. This sunday I went to Castle Frankenstein, a ruin next to darmstadt. It takes about an hour with an steep climb of 3 km's at the end.

Just before I left my flat I gave Werner a call. He is also living in Darmstadt. We used to do a lot of rides in Offenbach. He told me that he will go to frankenstein as well with his girlfriend and two mountain bikes. Fortunately we met us on the top of the mountain.

After a short chat I went a little bit further to the castle and enjoyed the view down to the Rhein valley and Darmstadt.

From Castle Frankenstein I went to Bensheim, a small town next to Bergstraße. It was an awesome downhill ride with about 70km/h.

From Bensheim I went back again to ??? (I forgot the name). There are a lot of 180 turns, so it is quite steep.

On the top I had a nice view again. The sun was still shining and it was quite warm (one month ago I rode my bike here through 5cm deep snow).

After a three hour ride I came home to Darmstadt and I was quite tired. I passed the cupola church and rode through Herrengarten.
