Sequoia NP -part 2
The next day we slept long and decided to go to the Topokah waterfalls. After half an hour Seppel was almost walking into a bear (blackbear). He was maybe 1.5 meters next to him. The bear noticed us first and was shier than we were and ran away! We were surprised as well (for sure) but it turned out that the bear was a really nice young "cuddelbaer"! We guess it was his first year without his mum. Here he is:

Me on the trail to the Falls.

Close to the Falls: you can see the river in the back!

After
the hike we drove to the sightseeing points:
This is General sherman tree - the biggest tree in volume on earth!
Sebastian in front a cut through a sequoia tree trunk.

What a big trunk with seppel!

And the roots...amazing!

Our rental car (we are americans now!)- what a bridge or tunnel!

And the next bear...this time an older and stronger one!
Can you see the rock? That's where we hiked afterwards...Moro Rock

Me on the way up to the top!

The view from the top: you can see the highest mountain Mt Whitney of the continuous US-States!

Seppel on the top - "a little bit" afraid of the height!

We hiked to sunset rock: waiting for the sunset and having dinner!

The sunset...
