Igloo Construction
Well, building an igloo is not a typical thing to do in Germany. I did it once before so I thought I should try it again.
First you have to find some solid well bonded snow. You need a snow saw to cut bricks and then you can start.
Seppel, Nick and Justine.

First row completed.
The master builder. A bit heavy so.
Too heavy.

We couldn't finish it this night.

Next morning we got up and the igloo was still there.

We had to continue to cut blocks.

It is pretty amazing how you can cut snow.

The master builder took a break.

Nick in our quarry.

The igloo is taking form.
At some stage you couldn't get out or in the igloo anymore so we had to put a hole.
It is not the prettiest one but at least it stood for a while. Unfortunately we didn't managed to put the top blocks in, it collapsed before.

Seppel climbing out of it just before it collapsed. Mt. Fissile behind.
