Happy Eastern
The Easter bunny came all the way to the Hut
It was a horrible storm last night so when we left the hut we had to break trail everywhere no matter how steep we went downhill. We also didn't want to ski too steep slopes due to avi danger. Kerstin and Gili. Gili arrived on Saturday with a friend.

Seppel's tracks.
Hard work going downhill after a storm.
Going up again.

Kerstin went back to the hut while I was going up on Mt. Brew.

Nice wind formations in the snow.

On top of Brew Mountain.

The Brandywine Bowl. That's where we skied the day before.

View down from the top of Brew Mountain. Kerstin is sitting in front of the Hut.

Seppel skiing down from the top of Brew Mountain. Can you see that small little dot.
On the right you can see the uphill tracks, on the left the downhill tracks.
We packed up and left the hut. We thought we could ski down in 2-3 hours. Since it took us 6 hours to get up we thought that would be reasonable. We never thought about the storm which deposited about 50 cm of snow so we had to break trail again on the way down.

Back at the trail head. Gili and Ariel.
It started to snow heavy again. Well, only a few more meters.
And even more snow.

We had to hike the last few meters. Kerstin, Gili and Ariel.

We jumped in our car. On the way through Squamish we decided to stop for dinner at the Shady Tree Pub, amazing food (not only since we haven't had any decent meat for 3 days). First we got a huge salad.

And then we had a burger with fries. Normally when we go out for dinner we finish everything but this time we couldn't even after being in the outdoors for 3 days.

Once we were at home we unpacked our gear in our "gear room" where it could dry.
