From the Ocean to the Canyon

A trip up into the mountain was on today's schedule. First we drove along the coast and saw some amazing stuff.

 

A blow hole. Water blows up through a hole and makes a kind of fountain.

 

Our first sea turtle.

After driving for a bit more we saw a totally different landscape.

I wouldn't have expected such a landscape in Hawaii.
