Trip to Hamburg
It is nice to use public transport, it is also nice to see those buildings and the history ...
Haven't had that in a long time: Currywurscht mit Pommes!
There were a lot of fans in town already. Atlético Madrid vs.Fullham FC.
Since we had a bit of time before the game started we went into the Miniature Wunderland, pretty amazing.
Some decent engineering.
There was even a concert.
That belongs to concerts as well I guess.
Everybody is heading home after the concert.
Get going, concrete is coming (a saying of my old boss on construction site in Vancouver).
A famous bridge by Christian Menn, the Sunniberg Bridge near Klosters, Switzerland.
Our new home?
A german town at night.
That's where we will be heading later on.
More construction going on. Looks like Germany is a busy place those days. Shouldn't be too hard to find a job.
Will be there in a couple of weeks.
Hamburg Landungsbruecke and Speicherstadt, that's where we are right now.
Las Vegas, must say, not the prettiest city I have seen but I haven't been there so who knows.
Another big bridge in Hamburg, the Koehlbrand Bridge.
Hamburg at night.
Outside again in the Speicherstadt.
I remember being here when they were building it.
There wasn't only in the Minature World a lot of construction going on, also in real life.
Finally we got to the stadium to watch the game, pretty amazing stadium.
The stadium was packed, too bad that Hamburg wasn't in the final, would have been a gong show.
Conner kick.
Madrid won even so Fullham was the better team for most of the game.
Next day we went to the Alster.
The Altheas.
Locks and old houses.
Good Bye Hamburg.
