California Coast 1

I guess everybody has seen the typical picture of the California Coast in a travel guide book or somewhere else, those narrow roads, those steep cliffs, the waves rolling in. We wanted to check it out ourselves and drove towards Santa Rosa where we would meet Hank and his family. Sit back and enjoy.

Where we had breakfast.

We looked down and saw some people in the ocean in wet suits collecting stuff, still not too sure what it was, I guess oysters?

Amazing rock formations in the water.

It was amazing to watch the birds fly by and just go up and down along the coast.

Well, not too much of a red steep shore / cliff, well, it is steep so.

Also the colour of the beaches changed, sometimes it was white sand, then yellow, or red and here it was black.

Those lagoons are pretty cool.

A bunch of seals hanging out ...

Would be cool to have a holiday home here.
