Biking at Kodak Chrome State Park
Kodak Chrome State Park, not that famous I guess but worth the visit. It is named after the famous film which doesn't exist anymore (not too sure if that is correct). We talked to the ranger and he told us about a bike trail you can do, a 6 mile loop. We didn't know about it before and we didn't plan to ride here but it was pretty nice.
Kerstin riding uphill, it was pretty hot.
Nice towers.
It was a long time since we were riding so we had to get used to it again. It was also pretty hot which didn't help, it was still wicked. Shred it! Oh, Terrie and Paul, can you see what she is wearing? They do a good job even so they are a bit warm. I am talking about the knee pads which are soccer pads, perhaps she is getting ready for the World Cup?
Can you see Kerstin?
The trail wasn't too special but the scenery added something.
We didn't see anybody on the whole trail other than snakes and geckos.
Which way to go?
More single trail, pretty cool to ride 100% single trail.
We got to a place called "Cool Cave". That's what we really needed in that bloody heat.
We had a long break here.
I made a lot of helmet cam footage, have to work on ...
Later on we drove towards the Grand Canyon National Park and checked out what we could do here.
We decided to go for a 3 day hike down to the Colorado River which is somewhere down there ...
