Zurich
I said goodbye to my parents and drove further south to visit Teresa and Peter in Zurich. After getting there friday afternoon Peter and I rode our bikes up the Hausberg, pretty nice views and a cool downhill track.
You can even take the tram up to the top. We rode up.
The view down into the valley.
Zurich See
Since it rained the last 4 days it was pretty muddy so we gave our bikes a shower.
Here is a movie of the riding:
Nice sunset over Zurich. Even so Zurich is fairly big (around 400000 people) it feels like a small village.
Lots of bike paths go through the town. This is an old railway track. There are shops and bars along the bike path.
Next to the river which goes through Zurich are a lot of the so called "Badi". Badi is a kind of swimming pool but in the lake or river.
There is even a bar with a techno club along the river. After the bike ride we stopped opposite side and had a few beers. Suddenly I hear someone shouting my name and a good friend from Darmstadt, Carsten, who lives now in Zurich stands next to me, funny.
