Boston

After leaving Cape Cod we drove to Boston. I have to say it is a nice city. The east coast cities do have a bit more history than the west coast ones. We walked along the freedom trail. It is a red line made out of bricks which you follow through town. Nice concept.

Before we ended up in Boston we went to another beach on Cape Cod; in Catham. The weather was so nice.

Here is a link for the path through Boston map

We went ot the Quincy market in Boston and this was the center point of the market.

Old brick-built houses, you can see the Irish influence to this city.

After we finished our tour through Boston we drove towards Gloucester which is located on an island north east of Boston. We looked for campgrounds and learned that the island has no campgrounds. Crazy! Well, we finally found one campground which was located before getting to the island but it was the worst we ever slept on. I was happy when we got up to leave!

Before we went to the campground we had some dinner at the waterfront in Gloucester .

Seppel was watching the old bridge all the time, especially when it opened for bigger boats.
