Rogers Pass: Grizzly Shoulder

We transferred from Golden to Revelstoke so we thought we have a day of touring at Rogers Pass.

The views are pretty nice at Rogers Pass.

After climbing for about 2.5 hours we had lunch. Katherine joined us for the day. She does her master in snow and avalanche science up at Rogers Pass.

Visibility got pretty bad.

Just as we decided to turn around it got better. The ski down was pretty amazing, about 1000m vertical.

It was pretty warm so the snow lower down wasn't that amazing anymore.

I guess they won't need the fire truck during the winter months.

Back at the cabin we enjoyed first the hot tub and later the fire place.
