We would have loved to ski Aspen or Vail but that would have screwed our budget. Shell has an offer where you can get two for one vouchers if you buy 10 gallons (40 litre) of gas. Since our van needs a bit of gas once in a while that wasn't a problem so we have plenty of vouchers. The vouchers make skiing in a resort quite affordable, instead of paying 100 bucks we paid only 50. Unfortunately those vouchers are not valid for Aspen and Vail.

Yes, high alpine. I think the ski resort goes up to 3800 m, the air is pretty thin up there.

I think somebody welded those chairlifts together in his back yard shop.

Snow wasn't amazing but the views were pretty cool. We skied on one of those ridges on the other side yesterday.

Skiing makes you tired so we had a rest.

Later on we walked through Frisco and I must say I agree with this.

Kerstin found a new friend and wanted to take it home but we couldn't find a trailer to put it on.
