Australian Zoo - Checking out the wildlife

Well, I wouldn't call it wildlife anymore but at least we could see some animals we haven't seen before.

Actually I am glad that I haven't met that thing in the wilderness.

Same with those animals, wouldn't want to meet them at the beach.

They are pretty lazy and didn't move all day.

Same with this buddy, no movement.

Kerstin got really close to this fella.

At 10:30 we went to the elephant feeding!

I am a bit of a Hosenscheisser when it comes to feeding elephants so I dropped the food.

Second round, this time with Sabu.

After the highlight of the day was over we went to a show and could see some more of Australia's wildlife.

Feeding time again, this time we weren't allowed to feed, perhaps better this way.

More feeding, the skin is actually really nice.

Another elefant show.

Looks like he enjoys the swim.

He had to go to the dentist.

Petting some koalas. I think the most amazing skin I have ever touched.

Sleeping, as usual.

Not only the koalas needed a nap.

I think this is my favourite animal of Australia, not well known but I think it is cute, the wombat.

It looks like a massive guinepig. They weigh between 30 and 40 kg. We actually saw them in the wilderness in Tasmania.

Not so much my favourite animal.

Amazing colours.

The Australian Zoo was pretty cool I can highly recommend to go there. We spent a whole day there.
