Honeymoon Day One: Alpini Klettersteig

After our wedding we left our parents homes and took off towards the Dolomites where we spent our honeymoon. Our first aim was Sexten.

That's why we came to the Dolomites ...

 

On our first day we went for a hike.

 

Our aim still looks far away.

 

Pretty soon we would start a via ferrata.

 

 

We had a stop at this hut.

The Alpini Steig (steig = steep path) was built during the 1st world war. The front line was around here.

Back in the hotel, relaxing and enjoying the swiming pool. Today we hiked through the valley and climbed through the mountains in the back.
