Zermatt day 1

We went to Zermatt with Sarah and Andrew. It is quite the drive, 5.5 hours (well, I think we picked the wrong route via Andermatten). I used to come here 15 years ago to go skiing with my parents. It is a pretty nice spot with the Matterhorn in the background. We camped in Täsch which is a lot cheaper than Zermatt.

First we had to do some bike fixing. I put new tires on my bike and they popped off since my rim is still damaged (you remember gin man :-)). I probably changed 5 tires to figure out which one wouldn't pop off.

We rode up to Schwarzsee, the weather wasn't amazing and it was fairly cold. In the back you can see parts of the Matterhorn.

The trails are pretty wicked in Zermatt. It is something special to ride in front of the glacier.

Andrew gave everything on the wheeler, nice technique bro (well, nice butt move)!

That's where I want to retire :-).

Luckily we are on bikes and not on skis.

Back at the camp ground we used our Son of Hibachi for the first time.
