Day 4: The Brazilian
We left Zermatt towards the Rhone Valley. Close to Sion we caught two cable cars (after 3 days of riding we got tired). At roughly 2400 meters we started our descent, 2000 m into the valley. The trail is called Brazilian, I think Wade Simons gave this trail this name after a visit to the area.
First we had to get there: 4 bikes and gear for 4 people, probably my next car will be a VW Sharan.
Breakfast at the campground.
Pretty neat gondola. The valley station isn't serviced so you had to read a sign and follow the instructions.
Another holiday home I should look at :-).
Our trail went onto the plateau and up the ridge.
Sarah does some Bikebergsteigen.
The girls weren't too happy about this section.
But once we could see the Gipfelkreuz everybody was happy.
Looking down into the Rhone Valley.
