Bikebergsteigen after and before work
I heard it is famous to have after work parties in big cities like New York or Berlin. We, my work mate Alex and I, decided to have another type of after work party, Bikebergsteigen. Since our office is right in the middle of the alps we can almost jump on our bikes at work.
Our aim was a mountain hut where we would spent the night, get up early the next morning to climb the peak and ride down to go to work. But first we had to get up to the hut.
Pretty hard work. The Silvretta in the back.
At the hut we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and some radler.
The sunset was pretty cool. On the left you can see parts of the goods lift.
"Über den Woken muß die Freiheit wohl grenzenlos sein ..." A famous song by Reinhard Mey, here is a youtube link.
Looking down to the valley, the grey area in the middle is our office.
The next morning we got up early, the lights in Bludenz started and people started to go to work.

Even so we were on 2000 m it wasn't that cold, it was still nice to see the sun come out :-).
The mountains towards St. Anton am Arlberg.
Bludenz, Bürserberg and Brandnertal.
7 am DHing!
Back at the hut to have breakfast.
Welcome to Austria, Alex riding towards his office chair!
