Brian Waddington Hut approach

The ski season started a long time ago but finally we rented gear from MEC (we still don't have our own bc gear) and drove up to Pemberton (North of Whistler). There was a lot of snow, 80 cm of fresh snow said the snow report. Well, we rented out our gear at the beginning of the week so we had paid already. I talked to a friend and he told me that they have never reached the hut before sunset. We drove friday night to Pemberton and stayed in a youth hostle. Saturday morning we started to ski up, it was hard work ...

After three and a half hours we reached the end of the loggin road (half of the hike). Seppel hiked up to the hut in late Summer and it took him about 2 hours to get there. We were all quite tired and exhausted. It was already 1:30 pm and so we decided to turn around. Before we did so Seppel did a jump down a rock. It didn't hurt at all because of the deeeeeeeep powder.
