22.9.03 Pavia - Genova - Cinque Terra (with the train)

If you will be once in Italy you have to go to Cinque Terra, it is so lovely. I left Pavia early in the morning with the train. It took me about 3 hours but it was worth that. The trains are really cheap in Italy, I paid only about 10 € for about 200 km's, think about the price in Germany for trains.

The first part in the train I slept. I was still exhausted of my bike ride.

Cinque Terra is between Toscana and Genova. It is right next to the sea with a beautiful landscape. Furthermore there are small villages with harbors and train stations. Everything looks like in a plaything train (how do you say in english).

I had a really nice day. I was lying the whole day at the beach, relaxed, read news paper and got sun burned (stupid ass, didn't use sun creme). Sometimes I went for swim, the water was really warm (more bath than a sea). Once I met an American guy, we talked for a while and decided that it is a really nice place. There were a lot of Americans.
