Werner brought the Raclette over from Germany. Since you need proper cheese for Raclette we bought some in a decent shop.

The Rockefeller Ice rink. I was here about 6 years ago and I wanted to go ice skating so we planned to go. Unfortunately we didn't find the time again. Well, so we have to do another trip to NY.

We finally arrived at home to prepare our dinner.

The buildings in New York are quite close together. If you look out of the apartment you see 4 x 5 windows on the other side of the street. It was actually quite interesting to look down to the road and watch the traffic.

Kerstin and her favourite dinner :-). Since the Raclette was from Germany and operated on 220V something happened what nobody thought about before. In the states there is only 110V. The result was that our Raclette didn't heat up as much so had to put the cheese on top of the Raclette. It worked even that way and tasted perfect.

Later on we went into a club to celebrate New Years.

The next day, Seppel decided to stay at home on the sofa and begin the New Year slow. Everybody else went for a walk in Central Park.
