Rafting

I always wanted to go on a whitewater rafting trip. Sicne we were used to live in Germany which doesn't have many places where you can go rafting it was time now! I guess we could have done it in Vancouver but we never got around to do it.

We were a big group, around 6 boats with 8 people each.

Can you see us. We are in the third row on the left and right. Seppel tries to keep the paddle dry.

We had a lunch break and enjoyed the sun ...

and then hit the river again.

We also did some cliff jumping.

After the rafting we caught up with Jo who lives in Fernie for the Summer. We went for a ride.

Seppel thought he should hit the bike park, well, he is probably a bit too old for it.

Back at the campground.

The next day we checked out the Island Lake Lodge where Jo used to work, they do cat skiing during the winter.

Island Lake Lodge. I think a 3 day package for cat skiing is about 3k, crazy. I rather go ski touring.
