Driving through the Rockies

We left Fernie after 5 fabulous days. The road trip continued towards Mt.Assiniboine. On the way we stopped in Kimberley which is the German/Bavarian city in Canada or at least it tries to be.

Gasthaus am Platzl

After half a hour or so we left Kimberley and drove to some wilderness hot springs, pretty cool.

We drove into the Kootenay National Park.

Since all the campgrounds in the park were closed for what ever reason we went to a lodge, quite nice to stay in a proper bed before you do a 4 day hike.
