Emerald Lake Banff National Park

We met Dan with whom Seppel was skitouring back in February at Keith hut and he showed us a bit around in the Canadian Rockies. A storm went just through so there was lots of snow, at some places up to 60 cm, insane, especially considering that we are in the Rockies and it is April. When I met Dan first he told me that it is always blue sky and a big snow fall is 10 cm, well, it was a bit different today.

Visibility wasn't good when we started but after a while we could see where we came from, Emerald Lake at the bottom.
